Adopt me!

Hi, I’m Juno! I came all the way from Zakynthos, Greece, and although my first stop in London didn’t quite suit me, the lovely team at Dog Trouble Foundation stepped in to help. I’m a mixed-breed livestock guardian with a big heart, I just need a little extra confidence to take on the big wide world.

I’d love a home with another dog to guide me, ideally somewhere calm and rural with plenty of space to roam — a large garden, smallholding or farm would be perfect. I can be a bit shy at first, so I need someone patient and gentle who will help me feel safe.

I’m friendly with other dogs and enjoy a good run and play. With people, I just like to take a moment to decide if I can trust you — once I do, I’m very loyal. Because I’m still learning about the world, I’d be happiest in a home without young children.

My confidence grows every day, and I’m walking beautifully on the lead. With clear boundaries, guidance and a secure routine, I know I can truly thrive.

Love,
Juno 🐾

Here's My Story

Juno was first adopted directly from Zakynthos, Greece by a family in London, but it was evident that this environment wasn't suitable for him. Consequently, the rescue reached out to Dog Trouble Foundation for assistance.

Juno is a mixed breed livestock guardian with a huge heart, but he just needs a boost in confidence to face the big wide world! Juno is best suited for a home with another dog, ideally in a rural setting with a large garden, smallholding, or farm.

Initially, Juno might be a bit timid, so he requires an owner who can provide patient guidance and a calm, steady approach.

Juno is friendly with other dogs and enjoys playful moments running around. He gets along well with people after determining if he can trust them. However, due to his sensitivity and ongoing learning about the world, he is not ideal for a home with young children.

Juno's confidence is increasing every day, and he walks nicely on a lead. With clear boundaries and consistent guidance to make him feel secure, he will thrive in an environment where he understands what is expected of him.
