Hi, I’m Sabre! I’m a fun-loving, water-obsessed dog who’s looking for someone special to share my world with. I’m healthy, full of life, and I’m not castrated.

Bath time and splashing around in water are two of my favorite things, and I’m always up for an adventure! I’m well-behaved off the lead, though I’ve got to admit, I do pull quite a bit when I’m on it — I just get so excited to explore!

Here's My Story

Sabre came to us from a loving family home that, due to the challenges associated with age, found themselves unable to manage his impressive size. This transition was not easy for them, as they had cherished his companionship and all the joyful moments they shared together.

Sabre is a fun-loving dog with an exuberant personality that shines through in everything he does. He is known for his playful nature and his ability to bring joy to those around him. When it comes to walking, Sabre is quite well-behaved; he walks nicely on a lead, especially when equipped with his Halti head collar, which helps ensure a comfortable and controlled experience for both him and his handler. His training has made him a pleasure to take out for walks, allowing for enjoyable outings in the park or around the neighborhood. Moreover, Sabre is great with other dogs, displaying friendly and sociable behavior that makes him a wonderful companion for playdates and trips to the dog park.

His love for water adds another layer of fun to his personality; whether it’s splashing in a kiddie pool, swimming in a lake, or just enjoying a rainy day, Sabre is always eager to dive in and have a good time. In addition to his sociable nature, Sabre is also very friendly towards people, making him an excellent family pet. He has shown that he can coexist peacefully with cats, which opens up his potential living arrangements to families with feline friends.

What Sabre truly needs now is a loving family who can provide him with the attention and exercise he requires. Regular exercise is essential for his well-being, both physically and mentally, as it helps to keep him healthy and happy. A family that enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking, running, or playing fetch, would be ideal for Sabre, allowing him to thrive in an environment where he can expend his energy and enjoy life to the fullest.
