Hi, I’m Ace! I’m about 2 years old and I've not been lucky enough to live in a home yet. I came here in February and I'm loving my indoor heated kennel with nice blankets! I absolutely love other dogs and I like people but I'm just a bit shy. I’d be more than happy to live with another dog or without, I'm not fussy but I did used to chase rabbits for a living so I might do the same with a cat in the house.
I’m learning to walk on a lead and come back when I'm called. I'm loving my new raw food as I was a bit hungry.
I’m looking for a home that is easy going as I like a calm life but I do also like to play with other dogs. If you’re after a gentle soul that would probably end up sleeping on the sofa in the sunshine then I'm your man!

Here's My Story
Meet Ace
Ace was given up to us locally. He possesses a wonderfully gentle demeanor and gets along well with other dogs and people who prefer a low-energy lifestyle. Although Ace was previously used for rabbit hunting, we are currently training him on recall, so he may not be the best fit for a home with cats. He hasn't been neutered but is fully vaccinated. Ace walks nicely on a leash with other dogs and is learning recall on a long line. He would be an ideal companion for someone seeking a calm dog who enjoys occasional playtime with other dogs.
