I found life in the Shelter on Zankynthos very stressful and would pace around the kennel. I had to wait a long time but eventually Jo brought me on the long journey to the UK where I'm really happy. Now I just need to find my forever home for there to be a perfect ending to my story.
Here's My Story
Christopher, a shepherd mix, was discovered wandering the streets of Zakynthos, Greece. He spent over a year at the Zante Strays shelter, where he was extremely stressed in the kennel environment. Jo brought him to the UK in March 2026, and he has now blossomed into a loving, obedient, and intelligent dog.
He gets along well with children and people in general. Christopher is confident around other dogs and occasionally over-sniffs, so he needs leadershiop to recall him away. He would excel as a Search & Rescue dog or with someone interested in dog agility. He thrives on mental stimulation!
He now walks well on a Halti lead with other dogs and is progressing in his recall training.
