Here's My Story
Meet Tommy
In November 2025, Tommy was discovered in Zakynthos, Greece, suffering from a severe gunshot wound to the head. He was brought to the local vet for treatment and received care from Healing Paws Animal Rescue. Sadly, due to the trauma, Tommy lost vision in his right eye. Despite this, he has made a remarkable recovery and is now at the Dog Trouble Foundation. Tommy has a strong pack drive, walks well on a lead, and prefers to walk on your right side so he can see you. He loves other dogs and people and is gradually gaining confidence around farm animals and new environments. Tommy needs guidance from someone who is calm yet confident and won't just pity him because of his past.
He would thrive in a home with another calm dog that occasionally plays, as high-energy environments/dogs can be too overwhelming for him. Tommy is used to being around young people that are gentle with him. Tommy has a beautiful soul and deserves a wonderful home!
