Jo found Larry on the streets in Zakynthos in a very sad state, skinny and suffering from untreated leishmania (a disease that can be controlled with medication and monitored with annual blood tests). Since being found in September 2021, Larry has been on medication and has come to life! Larry is an older dog but he is a chatty, cheeky, active boy who loves human interaction. He is actually a very confident dog and is at his happiest when out exploring on long walks. The Dog Trouble Foundation will support potential owners to ensure that Larry's leishmania levels are monitored and under control which will mean he can live a healthy life.
Larry would suit a home with no cats and with/without a dog as he is quite independent but also enjoys interacting with dogs. If you enjoy an active lifestyle then Larry is your dog to take exploring!
