History:
Mabel was adopted directly from Zante by a family in the UK. However after 3 yrs of living with them they felt she would be happier in a different home with another dog. So Dog Trouble foundation was asked to help find her another home.
Although Mabel is very happy being with the dogs at the centre she is an independent dog and doesn't need other dogs to interact with. She spent a few months in a foster home living with other dogs and they felt the same, that the dogs have helped her become more confident and feel secure however she doesn't really interact with them a great deal. Hence we are looking for a home with/without another dog.
She is fine with children although she can be timid at sudden movement or noise still so older children would be better.Â
Mabel is a very gentle dog with a kind soul who will calmly always be there in the background. She loves her walks, although can be hesitant at times passing vehicles. She loves her bed and is a creature of habit, lying on the same bed in the lounge every evening!  Mabel is also happy in her crate to sleep at night/rest during the day when you go out as she feels secure in her crate space.
