Gracious, to be a kid at Christmas, to feel the wizardry in the air, the fervor and expectation of Santa coming and leaving presents, and to encounter every one of the pleasant things winter brings. Be that as it may, somewhere close to youth and pre-adulthood, the miracle appears to disseminate. Has it forever been like that? That is the issue our heroes, John, Troy, Alex, and Faye, are compelled to investigate in Christmas As Before by James C. Reinhold. Does constrained appear to be an odd word here? It isn't. This 'team' of four get a kick out of ridiculing their substitute educator as he lets them know accounts of his life as a youngster Christmases. Much to their dismay that this is no common substitute instructor. As they leave school that day, sadly, they find that their general surroundings has returned to 1967 at Christmastime. Confounded, they head back home just to find that their families have encountered a similar change. As the days pass and they figure out how to exist in this a lot less complex time, they start to contemplate whether they will at any point see home in the future.
