Here's my story
Dylan came to us with his previous owner with a view to starting puppy class! But when he arrived he was so petrified that his owner had to carry him and then he toileted down his owners front! There and then I knew that this little chaps only hope was to come and live with the Dog Trouble Foundation.
His fear was so extreme that he needed the ‘Power of the Pack’. He didn’t trust humans at all BUT he completely trusted dogs. So that has been the ‘training tool’ of choice - the dogs, particularly Marley, who he immediately bonded with and who became an Uncle figure.
Over time it has been a joy to watch him develop different bonds with each of my pack and to watch him now after a few months start to look at me and follow some vocal commands. Dylan is never going to be a dog that will cope with urban life but that doesn’t mean there is not a home for him somewhere…..even if that will end up being at Dog Trouble Foundation.
