I've been having a lovely time with Jess and my new friends, but I really wish I could walk like they do. Jo says she will be bringing me to the UK where I'll meet lots of other new friends and maybe get to walk... or even get some wheels!!!
Here's my story
Evoli was found near Dennis Shelter at Krestena in Greece, with damage to her back legs from a nail that become embedded in her foot. She's a very sweet young puppy but she can't do the normal playful, puppy things because her back legs are paralysed. She had to be kept in a crate away from the other dogs as they might have hurt her.
Fortunately Jess, at Dennis Shelter, took her in as a foster dog, along with her other fosters and her own dogs. She's been giving Evoli exercises to help keep her muscles working. Evoli made great friends with foster dog Milou, but she needs to come to the UK where we can get her specialist treatment.
The Foundation's wonderful supporters donated the funds to cover the transportation costs to get her to the UK where she could get specialist treatment to see if she might be able to walk again. She will be staying at the Foundation for the foreseeable future and we now need to raise the funds for her treatment at Fitzpatrick Referrals.
